website development grants for charity

rulefresh charity web design

We love charities and the good work that they do – without hardworking charities and not-for-profit organisations, the UK would be a much worse place. As web developers and former charity workers, we decided that we wanted to do our bit to give these charities a hand and increase their promotion online.

This is why we started the rule:fresh website grant for charities – a lottery system for smaller charities and not-for-profits in the UK where the winners win a website grant. Put simply, we select a lucky charity from a hat and develop a high-end website for them free of charge!

Unlike other ‘grants’ that are offered to charities online, ours are built on WordPress (so you can change anything you want, whenever you want) and once we have completed the project the site is then 100% yours. You don’t even have to use our hosting or support packages.

This way, registered charities and not-for-profits are able to increase donor engagement and awareness without spending their own funds to do so. Our website development grant for charities provides these philanthropic organisations with a sleek platform for promoting all of their good work in a modern and engaging manner.

Current projects

Currently, we are working on 2 large projects for two charities who won our grants in the January draw. In essence, we are developing websites for these lucky winners for free, offering them each a charitable grant for new websites when we drew their names.

We will be doing another charitable draw in the near future, developing websites from grants worth £1,250 for free, so be sure to watch this space and keep up with our latest news if you want to apply for our £1,250 website grant for charities.

What do the charities get on their website?

Our lucky winners will receive websites of up to 6 pages and we will include the first 12 months of hosting for free. It takes us around 3-4 weeks on average to develop the websites according to the charity organisation’s needs, although this can vary.

If charities decide that they want to change or customise their website after the project has ended, we can help them to do this for a discounted rate. Also, for a mere £25 per month, we can offer charities and not-for-profits a site maintenance plan where we keep an eye out for any little bugs or problems that may arise.

We offer various content packages for the charities and our regular customers, creating content and designing web themes that are made to reflect your brand, niche, and feel. We tailor our service according to the needs of our customers, developing a website which suits them down to the ground.

If your charity would like the chance to win a grant in the future, make sure to keep updated via our website and social channels.
